starting trouble

Post by reggy22 »

I have a 2006 f250 super duty diesel bout a week ago she died on me took half an hour jumping to get her started could tell it was the starter on the way to auto store entire dash cluster died no gauges were reading about a minute later she stalled in the parking lot. Changed starter was working fine for a few hours then startes doing it again would jump get her started then dash cluster would flicker then die out minute later stall again. Got both brand new batteries still didn't fix the issue. Replaced entire positive cable which fixed the issue with tje dash cluster have full solid power to everything now except when I turn her to on everything starta flowin glow plugs firing up everything but when I go to crank her over there is nothing. No clicking no starting complete silence. Replaced alternator thinking it may be the problem still nothing. All connections are tight and solid I have no idea what the problem is and need help this my only vehicle and need her for work.

Welcome to the forum. If you own or are interested in '67-'72 Ford pick-up trucks a.k.a. "Bumpsides", then this certainly is the right forum for you, but because this forum is dedicated to the 1967-72 trucks, you may not find the answer to your question about your '06 diesel. You would have a better chance of finding the answer at;

http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum30/

Someone on there should be able to help you. :)
