Hey i got a 67 f250 with the 352, ive been going through trying to fix this wiring nightmare. Got alot of things rigged to working and finnaly found that the fuse box while the truck is running/off/acces mode whatever. There is not one fuse that has power...now im lost at why this is. All accesorys dont work...but turn signals and dome light and head lights do...Fan, brake lights, speedo(another issue),cigar lighter etc do not work at all. Seems like ocasionaly they will then they wont...could the fuse box not be grounded?
Thank you in advance

Re: 67 f250 no power to fuse box
No need for the fuse box to be grounded. They are just an assortment of fuse holders that have no need for a ground.
If I recall correctly, some fuses only have power when the headlight switch or another switch is on.
As for the cig lighter fuse - Should have power all the time as far as I know.
MOST power for the cab comes from the black wire with a yellow stripe that is connected to the battery terminal on the solenoid switch. At least that is the case on '68 trucks and later. Make sure that wire is making good contact at the solenoid. Then, follow it across the dash to make sure it is intact. It splices to a yellow (I think) wire in a black blob near the steering column. Check that area as well.
It could also be that the fuse box has some issue. If you remove it to check it out, make sure the battery is disconnected!

Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in garages. (Apologies to Kenneth Grahame.)
