turn signal blowing fuse
Hello, i removed a trailer plug and since then ive been blowing fuses like crazy, ive fixed all bare spots in wires and all lights work great. Ive replaced flasher relay. sometimes i can use signals a few times before it blows, sometimes fuse blows right away, i can let signal flash for 5-10 mins in garage with nothing else on and it will blow. I have not touched any other wiring to cause this issue. I keep thinking i fixed it and nope it kicks me in the ass again. Any help would be great. Thank you, kevin.

Sounds like you may have a bare spot on a wire that is causing a short. You may want to recheck where you removed the trailer light hook up.

Re: turn signal blowing fuse
I'm using a 14 amp fuse in the f5 holder. I may need to look up stream to find a bare spot, the only thing that puzzles me is when the truck sits with blinker on for 10 mins with the truck not moving or me turning anything else on, I would think if it were a short or grounding out it would blow right away, which it does do sometimes but not everytime

Re: turn signal blowing fuse
Yep 14 Amp. The Blinkers, backup lights, and window washer pump all run off that fuse, or they do in my 68 as per the operators manual. So could be any of those 3 systems blowing the fuse.
