Well, after getting everything buttoned back up after the frame chop I have developed a light problem. The headlights repeatedly go from bright to dim as do the front running lights. I no longer have rear taillights but I do have brake and signal in the rear. I thought perhaps a ground issue so I ran a dedicated ground wire from the battery to the tail lamp assemblies but still no go. I can hear something faintly clicking from the back side of the dash panel. Felt the headlight switch, it's cool to the touch. I'm still leaning towards a ground issue because they were working fine before I chopped the frame and bed.
Any thoughts?
EDIT: the clicking seems to be coming from the headlite switch assembly itself. It does get warm, but not overly hot. If it's on it's way out, could it have taken the running lights with it while it slowly fails?
EDIT: new headlight switch did not fix it.

Yup.
There is a circuit breaker in the switch... that is the clicking you hear.
You either have a short, or a bad switch.
FWIW, I ALWAYS buy a headlight switch for a 69 mustang. They had 4 headlights and can handle a bit higher load... Fixed many a mustang that way.

Yes, I found it. When I dropped the tank while working on the frame chop, I got the wires pinched when I re-installed the tank. Dummy me.
