dash wiring

Post by oldyeller69 »

i have a 69 f250 camper special and the wires in the cab are hacked and chopped the previous owner thought he was an electrician and wires and booze mix. the answer is no to both. what i need to know is can i replace just the wires in the cab or do i have to replace it all. i got it to start and run and charge but the wipers don,t work, the turn signal doesn't work, and none of the gauges work, plus the interior lights don't work and no radio. is there a harness just for the cab or what? :hmm:

The wiring on our trucks is, pretty much, segregated by function with several harnesses joined by connectors. Here's an example of what I mean http://www.fordification.com/tech/wirin ... arging.jpg. Unfortunately nobody remans OEM harness sections that I know of. You'll probably have to go to a junk yard for the section(s) you need.
