ground strap

I am installing the ground strap back on the engine to firewall. The strap was mounted on the cast iron intake then to firewall. Since i change the intake to aluminum, can i still use the intake for ground. I also replaced the old intake bolts with the Edelbrock bolts if it makes any difference. Seems to me the bolt going thru the intake into head would make sufficient ground.

Aluminum is a great conductor. Replace the ground strap in the same area.

Thanks for the reply. I'm slowly getting this thing ready to throw some fire to it.
