65/66 mustang bucket fit in 72 f100

Post by kevins72 »

Hello, does anyone know if 65/66 mustang bucket seats will fit in some of the stock holes and look good and the right height in a 72 f100 ranger. Thanks for your time and input. Kevin

You will have to make/buy the bucket seat mounting brackets. Here's a link to a discussion with some info on where to get brackets. http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... &sk=t&sd=a or you could do like I did and make your own seat mounting frame. http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... =6&t=66309

That looks nice, I really like the all black. I'm going to start looking for pair more locally so it will help with the shipping cost, that will pay for the brackets. Thank you. Kevin

Does any new holes need to be drilled for the brackets?

Yes.
I want to say they are marked on your floor from factory. But I don't know that for sure because the trucks PO sprayed some bed dyno liner type stuff on the floor. It's easy though to find n mark the holes to drill.

The outside holes in the floor for the bench seat line up perfect for the outside brackets for the bucket seats, There are no holes for the inside brackets but all you have to do is mount them to the outside ones the mark and drill the inside bracket holes.

Along the lines of Bucket seats. If you need the trim pieces that go just below the rear window let me know.
These were installed to cover the top edge of the carpet. There were also two angles that were installed to the B-pilar's
to attach the lower part of the carpet. This way your gas tank was covered so you still had a nice look.
These trim pieces will also work if you have removed your gas tank and you want to break up the back wall, paint and carpet
or two tone paint.

I've been picking them up when I find them. I've sold three sets, I think I have three or four sets left.
