Ceramic H4 headlight sockets

Post by mnkeeking »

I've been pretty ill for more than a few weeks now, so sorry about the lateness of the post. I start feeling better for a few days and than it's knocks me down again. Went to the doc early this week and he says all is well, but I'm waiting for a few tests to come back. Anyway, the pictures below are of some really cheapo ceramic H4 headlight sockets I bought on the internet. I paid a total of $6.75 for four of them, and I got what I paid for. They are of course made in China. The wiring SEEMS sturdy until you look carefully. They do have a yellow plastic protector of some sort, which I like, but I'll be rewiring them with heavier gauge wire and some quick connects so they'll be plug and play. I only need two of them and if anybody wants to T&E the second pair I'll drop them in the mail. I do not expect much from them, but prices for "good" ones seem too steep right now, especially because I'll be pulling the front end apart more than a few times before I'm good to go.
Take care,
Joe
