71 gauge cluster in 67 housing...

Post by thereverend »

I'm doing this sort of piecemeal at the moment. I have a 71 w the plastic cluster.Image
I also have a 67 metal housing Image
I want to put the 71 gauge cluster in the metal housing (with a new lens and the white faces etc)
What is the best way? Just use the existing holes in the 67 and tap into the 71 (the holes don't line up)? I want to tap into the collective knowledge of those who have done this before. Show mercy please.
