I'm doing a 79 tilt column install in a 1970.
In a prior post someone stated "The emergency flasher in the 79 column indeed only needs one wire to work. I tapped the 67 flasher harness white wire with red stripe to the 79 white wire with red stripe."
Will this result in being able to use either the column or the dashboard hazard switch? If not, has anyone done this successfully and how?

Re: 79 tilt column emergency flasher
Well, I decided to go for it and tap the column flasher wire (white with red stripe) in to the same color wire near the dashboard hazard switch. It works!
Now either switch can be used.

Re: 79 tilt column emergency flasher
I deleted the hazard switch on my 79 column as I wanted to keep the switch in the glove box.
