Red w yellow stripe dual connection

Post by Wzrthnu »

Does anyone have an idea what this red w yellow stripe junction is. It is two of the same color wires with a female end. Cannot find it anywhere on the diagrams. It is under the dash center drivers side. I'll post a pic if no one understands.

Secondary question- orange wire in engine bay - lighting diagram shows it but no connection- appears to have something to do with fuel sending unit. Wire 286 on ignition diagram.

Don't know about your first question but I have the same orange wire laying beside my intake. Single female bullet connector, keyed hot. I'm sure it's for some option I don't have. Oh...that's right...my truck has NO options!

Orange wire is probably for the Aux tank sender.
Red/Yellow I am not sure, but maybe dual brake warning lamp circuit, wire # 640?
