Alright. i have a 71 ford f100. And up till past few days truck would fire right up and die on command . Presently its firing on up but I'm having to choke the hell out of my carb to kill it.
any suggestions are appreciated.

Ignition switch is good I'm getting power to it all just can't get it to start now...

Next check your solenoid. You should get 12v at the "S" terminal with the key in the start position and around 9v at the "I" terminal with the key in the run position. If you don't, then replace it.
