ignition and wiring help please!!$
Hows it going guys? I just recently finished the rebuild on my motor. I added an HEI distributor from summit and added the accel super stock coil. I fired the truck last Saturday, the truck ran fine but when I went to turn the truck off the ignition saith wouldn't turn it off, then it just shut off like it had no power. After that I went in and removed the ignition and added a toggle switch for the ignition and one for the starter. The truck still didn't want to start, tested everything and found that I fried the coil. So I bought a tfi coil and an hei module wired everything up and now my ignition wire smokes when you turn the ignition switch on. Im stumped. Is there anyone that has an idea of what's going wrong or a diagram of the wiring for the TFI coil swap with the HEI module.
