Passenger Side Headlight

Post by Subzero »

Today I noticed my passenger side low beam headlight is out now. How do I change the headlight on this truck? Please remember I've never changed a light on this old of a truck. Is it any different than a "newer truck"?
Thank you for your help

Got it done today. It was way easy too but I do like to know what I'm getting into before I do something. Got a different brand light than the other side as I couldn't find GE lights anywhere. Hard to tell the difference though.

Aside from the expensive halogen retrofit lights that LMC/DC sells, is there any other options for improving the lighting on these? Either a replacement 100W sealed beam or something like the retrofit that is in the 'harbor frieght' price range?

Well, one step up from the incandescent sealed beams are the Halogen sealed beams (#6024) like the Xtravision, Cool Blue and Silverstar by Sylvania. I think GE Nighthawk is also halogen. :)
