Whelp heres some pics of the seats i got. they turned out nicer then i expected. i got a great deal on them. all i need now are the truck brackets. oh and they are out of a 67,68 or 69 mustang.

i got lucky really, long story but the guy i bought them from was asking $250, it was on craigslist for while which was shocking so i offered him $100 which he declined at first. he asked me what i was putting it in. after i told him my 68 f100 he said he has been following my build thread. he told me his seats would look great in my truck. i agreed he said hed take the $100. i was shocked. they were even nicer in person. i gave him a T5 bellhousing i had and told him to try and sell it to make up some of the difference. pretty cool, super nice guy.

thanks, yeah i thought at first when i found out mustang seats came in these trucks; that i wanted to keep the bench seat so my wife can sit next to me.
over time i realized that my wife likes to look at my classic vehicles and doesn't care to be in them.
after the wreck i made a decision, i was lucky i didnt get hurt, so after upgrading my brakes and handling. im going to install 3 point seat belts, so for safety i would want my wife to be all buckled up.
and ive never been a fan for going 3 or 4 deep in a truck
then after seeing a local red truck with black interior like mine but with black bucket seats..... i was sold. buckets it will be.

Not much to post. ive been tinkering around tying up odds and ends on the truck.

I got to work on the lower valance a bit, i got it cheap cause it has a bend/crease in it. i didnt do too much to straighten only because i was working on it at night. couldn't make too much noise. but i think once i get her done she will straighten out well enough.

I slapped her on the truck to see how well she lines up.




Here is where you can tell i still need to work on it, its sits different on each frame horn. i dont want it to touch the frame horn. the pic on the bottom is the bent area.




Just for fun shes starting to look like a truck again.

yep i lived over in LA for a while in baton rouge. i know exactly what u mean about the heat. at night its not cool its just.... less hot and humid
