charging system wiring
On a1971 f250 trying to find where does the green with red Tracer from the voltage regulator goes. The truck had no indicator lights. Thanks!!!

It should be the same as the 70 & 72 shown here... http://www.fordification.com/tech/schematics_h.htm
Shows it going from the regulator to a splice and then to the idiot lights and ignition switch. Hope this helps!

When I Was looking at the diagram, I noticed that too. But I don't have dummy lights. Completely lost on this one

I think the harnesses are the same, with or without the lights. Should be an empty connector near where the lights would have been, just sitting there with nothing to do. Is the wire on the ignition switch?
