Hard starting/drags when hot
I have a 67 f100 4wd with a 390 and no headers. With new battery, turns over/starts fine when cold. When hot, turns over slow/drags but starts right up as soon as one cylinder fires. Starter gone? Timing?

Re: Hard starting/drags when hot
Make sure your timing isn't too far advanced .
and get "BIG" battery cables (00 ga)
If it still turns slow then look at the starter.
Don't overlook the cable from the solenoid to the starter
and the ground wire to the block and solenoid / rad support.
