my f250 turn signals stopped working properly... they were working fine before I made a few changes..
currently they work in accessory mode and flasher mode. however when the ignition is on the right one just glows and doesn't blink and the left one blinks but the instrument light doesn't turn on..
it seems to have happened after I installed the pertronix igniter and coil.
I also removed the factory ac system but no wires were cut and all connectors appear intact.
I also installed a painless cirkit boss but this was after the turn signals stopped working correctly
and ever after that install the same symptoms are there
any ideas? I am thinking I may not have grounded the pertronix correctly but I did use the ground screw and wire
from the kit...

Re: 72 F250 Turn Signal Issues
Does the engine run fine after the Pertronix install? Did you bypass the ballast resistor wire (heavy gauge pink wire under the dash; shouldn't have affected the signal, but might affect the Pertronix performance (at least, on my '67, I had to bypass the resistor wire))? Do your emergency flashers still work? What do you mean by "flasher mode"? Does it work with the ignition on, but the engine not running? Do all of your other lights work? It almost sounds like a ground wire got removed or broken, so you might have to ohm out your connections. Or, your blinker "can" just decided to die at the same time as you were making your mods (not likely, but ...).

Re: 72 F250 Turn Signal Issues
Thanks for the reply Joseph..
I didn't make any mods under the dash.. the engine runs the same with the pertronix..
the emergency flashers work fine (I have not tried them with the engine running I will do that)
by flasher mode I mean when the flasher button is pressed.. accessory mode is me turning the key to acc..
