I installed one in my crew a few yrs back, no problems. I have ducting going to individual vents that were the rectangular ones in the kit. They seemed to kill some airflow so I added some round billet specialties vents and they flowed better. The kit does clean up the heater/under dash area. Lastly the pass side vent block off plate I threw away and found another driver vent and it works great and looks factoryish.

Sweet!

I was wondering about those vents. Did you get your replacement from CAP? Do you have any pics you can show?

I have just have the individual vents. Not the unit that hangs under the dash line. Here is one installed in the dash bezel. And one still new in the package as I never finished as usual. Image

Only downside is the loss of the larger glove box area, but the smaller one fits and is just the right size for paperwork some fuses and no extra clutter. Last pic u can see a driver side vent bolts right up.

Thanks for posting the pics! Those look a lot better than those rectangular ones. CAP is right here in Fort Worth and I might bend their ear to see what they suggest. Not quite to that stage of my build yet but at this rate it won't be long.
