Re: Batteries
I've been shopping around because mine is getting weak. I will probably get a Duracell brand from Sam's Club. Same 3 year free replacement 8 year prorate warranty as the parts stores but $30.00 bucks cheaper.

I also do a lot of shopping there-and use my rewards card. I had to get 3 gallons of Prestone anti=freeze last month, and thought I might have to take out a loan to do so!Bought mine at Autozone. $104 cheapest they had.2/5 warranty.

Re: Batteries
Yeah I had the same sticker shock when I had to buy a battery last Sept for my 250. I'd not bought a 24F battery since the 80's, and had not paid any attention to pricing, and they were always the cheapest ones out there eh? So I confidently told the wife that it'd be 40-50 bucks tops for a new battery. Ha! Wal-Mart had the cheapest deal in my town at 85 clams. As my dad used to say about high priced stuff, "They sure are proud of it."
