Heater Fan Switch Removal
My heater fan is not operating. I believe it is the heater blower switch since the brown wire into the switch has voltage, but none of the other wires will indicate voltage coming out (thank you so much to the person responsible for putting the electrical schematics on this site). I feel stupid asking, but how do I remove the switch so I can replace it? Is there an easy way to remove the entire faceplate for the heating and fan panel so I can have better access?

Re: Heater Fan Switch Removal
Not sure about removing just the fan switch but the front bezel has 2 studs on the back that protrude through the control assy on the back side of the dash. Remove the front knob ends from the levers. Remove the 2 nuts on the back side of the dash from the front bezel studs and the whole assy can be out from behind and under the dash. You may have to loosen a cable clamp on the heater box(?) to get enough slack to pull it down far enough to get the fan switch off. I believe it's held on by one or two screws/nuts to the control assy. Upper left corner of this diagram will give you some insight. http://www.fordification.com/tech/image ... heater.jpg
