ok...might have found *part* of my elect. problems...
putting new alt. on yesterday I found a cut wire going from the *stator* post on the back of the alt...I have
heard many people tell me what the *stator* wire does..can anyone help me with this?...
1967 Ford F-100...goin back *STOCK*..just sayin

Ok so you have a new wiring harness, differnet alternator and voltage regulator? and you still get a intermittent overcharge scenario?

I put a meter on it and it stayed on 12.72...before it would stay around 14.00 and then peak out the meter....???
