How do I clean this up?

Post by SoCalExile »

Then I got this truck a couple years ago, I didn't know what I was doing and pretty much bubba'd the wiring, Now that I'm looking to add a electric fan, I'd like to clean this up, any pointers on how?

Wrap them all in plastic loom and taped together if possible. And combine a few into the same eyelets if possible.

Yeah, I can't stand the way those plastic boots on wiring terminals look either. Where possible, I like to use uninsulated terminals, slide on some shrink tube, solder the wire in and shrink tube it tightly. Makes a much cleaner package. Other than that, the clear blue insulated terminals have softer boots that look a little cleaner too.

Thanks.

I've been looking around for some sort of distribution block to use. Does anyone make one?

:yt: Thanks 71PA_Highboy!

SoCal, when you get it figured out, post some pics of what you came up with. That's always been an eye sore area for me too. Thanks!

I'm by no means an expert but it looks like it would to me. Simple and clean.

It looks like a junction box, but not a bus bar. You would have to put all the wires on 1 terminal.... that would make an awful big box of emptiness to do what you want...
