Mystery Switch

Post by dmcintyrelee »

OK,, due to a total lack of knowledge (or just pure blindness)..
I have this mystery switch next to my ignition. Looks like it might be something that was added in, this is my first classic ford truck so I am not too sure
what it is and what it is for??

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

That is not a factory switch. Is it hooked up to any wires? And if so, where do they go? That is pretty much going to be the only way you are going to tell.

Yeah HiBoy, I live on the westside of town. I would love to get some help with that mystery switch. I just picked up the truck in Aptos about a month ago, I really don't have much for work space or tools either,, I do plan on looking at it though. How many Trucks do you have??

No mystery, it's the switch to change your fuel gauge when you switch from one tank to the other. very much a factory installed item. Have one on my truck.
