electronic distributor for 1967 240 6 cyl motor

hi fordy folks,
I have a 1967 f100 that i have overheated. i took the head to my local shop and they took about 3 mm to resurface it. i had cooked the head because the bracket holding the alternator had **** itself at the block . where it attached the bolt had drop out and there was no tension on the fan belt. After i reset the valves and tried to run it there was very little spark. the coil is throwing a spark on test about 25mm. Im thinking the distributor has **** itself or the ignition box thingie . so im going to put a new dissy in. My question is what type of distributor can i put in that will be electronic and simple and not have to worry about. that is off the shelf install and go. Any recomendation folks? I use it every day for my business and need it back on the road asap.

Use a Duraspark... from a late 70's truck with a 300.

I cannot find a replacement anyware that will fit . im desperate please help me find a replacement dissy as no one here in Aussy can source me one , how hard can it be . electronic whatever it doesnt matter.
