All,
Just joined Fordification and this site looks absolutely great!!! I have a nice 1967 F100 and could use some help. I recently had a starting problem and during troubleshooting I was checking fuses. During this, I broke the glass fuse for the instrument panel and/or radio. Based on my fuse panel (bit confusing), I can't determine what my fuse amperage is for the Instrument panel fuse and radio. I thought it was a 14 Amp but that is too big. The fuse I am trying to replace is a short fuse.
Can anybody help me out here? Appreciate any help you could provide. Thanks
bob e 1 in San Antonio, TX. Looking forward to using this site and chatting with y'all.

Re: Need help with fuses amps identification
the instrument panel is a 2amp fuse. the stock radio (I think) is powered off the dome\cigar lighter fuse which is 15amp.

Re: Need help with fuses amps identification
Thanks for the replies on the fuse problem, very much appreciated.
I am now searching for a 2 amp fuse for the instrument panel slot. I have found the 2 amp but it is a longer fuse than the one that I have in my truck...uses a shorter fuse and didn't have any luck finding one today at Pep Boys, Auto Zone, or another place. Any further ideas on where to look for the short 2 or 4 amp fuse that will fit in the slot that I have in my fuse panel. Thanks again guys. I love this site!!!!
