Hey I found another truck I see you've been working on, (evident by all the welding)?
It has a pretty nice seat in it too.

The comments are rolling out of my head( ) on this one Jeff, but I'll keep them to myself  ..would love to "Fit" that seat in my truck

I'm a finactic on butt welds, but I will suggest to get a flange tool for this fix.....I flanged these patches and it made it a lot easier to reach up in in and hold them in place for welding

Pic's coming....the bondo coat is sanded out and I metal coated the seams(above doors&windshield)and sanded them out.....It now has 2 heavy coats of Epoxy primer inside the cab :hd:

Maybe I missed this in one of your post.... by all the metal work and bondo to the dash are you going to leave it metal when finished? (no dash pad)

Everything is looking real nice, keep it up!

:hmm: No you didn't miss anything about the dash......I've been up in the air about dash pad/no pad, shave /no shave. It got real clear after seeing Mike's thread again
Image

So it will be "pad less" when it all said and done

Pic's as promised

:D I've got the cab into it's first(find what's hiding)coat of sanding primer & back on the frame

Image

I mounted the buckets first, bfore putting it on the frame.....it's back on the frame to locate shifter in conjunction with the bucket seat
Image
Shifter has been cut,re-welded and bent to fit my set up....
Image

Also will be checking mount to make sure I've got good alignment on my new cab mounts,it's close.....close enough to cut hole for shifter

Thanks Tyler......and it's feeling AWesome :woohoo: and Overwhelming :help:  all at the same time  Trying to focus on one direction with so many things to still be done, but 1 day at a time and 1 problem(or fab job)at a time.
Don't know what I'm gonna close out of the firewall :hmm: or shave out of the front of the dash just yet,but thats a whole nother animal for a later date.
I plan on contacting Ron Francis tommorow and get the ball rolling on my harness.....ordered a 6pc gauge set for my F600 panel today. Set up my "Arm&Hammer" rust cooker today.....so I'll be dippin parts for the next few days :hd: and then to my buddy's to powdercoat.
I'm gonna pick the cab back up and get the back mounts set....so I can adjust my front one and I need to reinforce the cab for thr back of the seat bolts......lotta back and forth

Been there-done that Jerry, especially the evilboy mislabled parts thing! I usta just blow it off to expierence. But finally a few years back I started leaving appropriate feedback-based on how accurate they listed the part.
Gotta' take time off every once in awhile man. :shh:

This my :2cents: worth but you're going to hate those neoprene bushings. They will squeak like a women look-in to spend money. Now if you're going to use this for off road no big deal. I'd ask around......

:D Well it's been awhile and I was cleaning and painting various small parts till I could get myself headed in a (1)direction. Pulled the cab back in and went back at the spots the primer coat showed me...then set it back on the frame. I was fortunate to have saved the (original)mounting hardware for the back cab mounts.I retained the core support hardware....non-usable,but it was good enough for this....

Which lead to this

and I couldn't stop there....so after having these stored away all(had'm bfore I tore the truck down)these years
Image
Image

So the plan is.....mock fit body...fenders,doors & box. mock up the cab interior..dash cluster, steering column, pedal assembly, finish shaving dash and start mocking up engine compartment......So This Beast can Fire :woohoo:

Hey Jerry! Great work. I don't suppose you've got another set of those cab mount/radiator mount hardware laying around would you? I trashed mine taking them off and threw 'em away. Then I got ready to buy new urethane one's and realized I had I couldn't get 'em. So I was going to make my own but I don't know the dimensions. The dimension I need is the length of the tube between the two washers.

From what I see of the originals......your length wants to be about a 1/2" short of your bottom collar....so if you put your new rubbers(urethane)mounts in place top and bottom...you'll have your length  With a little searching of hardware and some welding you can Repop your own....who wants to spend a Cnote on Bolts and washers.....and besides the rubber..thats all you get in the new kits
