FlameThower Coils?

Post by HDxLoki »

I was wonder if the PerTronix 40011 Flame-Thrower 40,000 Volt 1.5 ohm Coil is any good I have the factory stock coil on there and want to buy a new one. I've heard they burn out easy but for 30$ it's not bad condescending it improves gas milage and performance. Or should I buy 3.0 ohm?

I burned up my flame thrower 2 set up on my converted points dizzy on my 5.0. So I swaped it out for the flame thrower 3 and matching 1.5 ohm coil and it's been all good so far!
