Looking real good Jerry.
I hate to be the one to tell you this...you know you have to put a carburetor and distributor on the engine to make it run LOL!
The billet stuff makes such a huge difference in how an engine looks.

Very, very nice quilt you are making.....oops I mean truck... with all the patch panels and welds stitching this thing back together thought you were quilting.. Wow now that was a lot of welding I thought mine has a lot, but not even close to what you've had to do to make yours solid again. nice job!
"FoPar" because I love Fords and Mopars so just call me FoPar...

Re: 70 Custom--The Fun Begins DRIVE TRAIN
THX....these trucks are far and few between up here Makes me a little jealous to see some of you guys picking these things up left and right for "lunch money" The "Quilt" will be getting some help soon from another truck with rust free metal... I've put my share of Allmetal on with the welds as you have with your product.......all I can say is get it smooth before it curesFoPAR wrote:Very, very nice quilt you are making.....oops I mean truck... with all the patch panels and welds stitching this thing back together thought you were quilting.. Re: 70 Custom--The Fun Begins DRIVE TRAIN
Alot of mock up with my nasty sheet metal and hopefully picking up another truck(with good parts)next weekend. So let's look at some pic's
Preliminary spark plug wire routing
a little fab work out of a couple air breather snouts
Thoughts are a little ram-air induction through a K&N into a sealed stock air breather...hence the mock up...to see where I can go with it. K&N parts are ordered and on the way.
Also wanted to check clearence of radiator to my pully and fan set up
Might be in the market for a new shroud or longer spacer
Got my new shifter...needs a litlle tweaking and after alot of tweaking....I got the linkage hooked up
