Question about wire for heater or air conditioner

Post by BrantDale »

I am trying to hook up my factory air conditioner, it has never been hooked up since I have had the truck, so I am not sure how things were originally hooked up. There is a green wire and I would assume that it is a ground wire but don't know where it should go. It is a wire that comes off of the harness in the glove compartment area. I am attaching some pictures of the wire.

Thanks for the help!

Here is the diagram for it http://www.fordification.com/tech/wirin ... g_69ac.jpg the green wire(s) is for the control of the compressor through the thermostatic control switch ( I see it on top of the box in the pics) and a limit switch...

If it Looks good and Works good then it's ok by me. Everything has its issues from time to time...

Thanks, that was it, I had to solder the wire to the limit switch, it had come loose.
