i dont know what alternators to get these off of. i have heard cars. but maybe soem trucks. here is mor einfo on the 3g thing. there is a wiring diagram in this section also. under diagrams for everyone. http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... =8&t=13062

Thanks fordman. I have seen that post. If I end up going the 3g route it will deffinantly help me. The only donor vehicles I was able to see in the links of that post referneced where to find 130 amp alternators. With my dump bed and the winch couple with the new off road lights I'm adding to it the 200 amp would be preffered. I just need to know where to find one.

this computer wont let me right click. so i cant paste the ebay link i found. but go to ebay and type in 200 amp atlernator. and it will come up with all kinds of vehicles. you just have to find one that will bolt on. and thne go to the junkyard and get one from that car.
