71 Wiring Diagram???

I notice there are no wiring diagrams for 71's in the Diagrams and Schematics. Can the 72 diagrams there be used, or are they just different enough to drive me crazy? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

72 should be pretty close if not exactly the same. there may be soem added emissions wiring inthe 72 diagram. however you will want to notice that you can also look at the 69 diagrams for the alternator wiring. because it shows the full gauge set up inthe instrument cluster. where the other diagrams only show dummy light configurations.
