lighting switch removal

Is there a trick to removing the lighting switch in these things :? . its kicking my butt :x

What exactly are you referring to? The headlight switch in the dash? If so, you have to remove the knob & bezel first. I used a flatblade screwdriver wrapped in masking tape so as not to scratch anything. Reach under the dash and feel around on top of the switch for a button. Push down on it and pull out the knob at the same time. Then, remove the bezel and the switch will unscrew from the dashboard.
