Re: Turn Signal Short
plug life also has to do with how many times they have been pull off and put back on. the terminals ends inside fo the plug can be mashed back down to give better contact to the brake light switch. that just tightens up the terminal where it slides onto the spade.

that plug is original used for a manual transmission. what it does is to bypass the neutral safety switch that a manual column doesnt have. if you have a nuetral saftey switch on your column unplug that plug and plug the nuetral safety switch into that plug. and see if the nss works .

Re: Turn Signal Short
My nss never has worked and way down on my list of priorities. So I can ignore/bypass it when I begin rebuilding the wires for my tss?
I'm just waiting for my wire to arrive before I begin to build my new harness. I decided to order the orginal color coded wire to keep things simple.

Re: Turn Signal Short
TheTSS short turned out to be coming from the fuse box so I don't need to rebuild all my harnesses. I will since I now have all the plugs and wires but at my own pace. It's time to enjoy the simple pleasure of turn signals for a while:)
