What works good to clean the dull stained paint on the firewall. The paint seems to be still decent but stained pretty deep.
I've tried hand cleaner and rubbing compound.
Any Ideas?

MEK. Methyl Ethyl Ketone. Soak a rag in it, and go to town. wear skin and lung protection, it will mess you up. but it will clean damn near anything.
