I've seen hail that big - in Central Texas in May 1976. The fools should have gotten away from that window. A stray hailstone that big would shatter the glass.

Parents had a tornado go just east of their place Tuesday night. The hail broke out some windows, sounds like they are going to total an Escape and an '09 Focus, all the wheat, all the building roofs and possibly siding on the east side of the big shop and house. They got 6-8 inches of rain with it completely washed out roads and places the road was cut out for half a mile four foot down.

Did any of you guys see the pics on the weather channel of the hail today? I think it was in Kansas. Inches of hail. It looked like snow. There was even a couple shots of people with snow shovels. Pretty wild.

I didnt see any pics. I'll have to look for them. I've seen it that heavy one time. Roofs were destroyed, carports caved in, windows busted out, power lines down etc. It was a total hell.

One of the old timers here at work drives a car that sat thru a hailstorm like that. He replaced all the glass in it & still drives it, but the body looks like someone took a pick-ax to it
