Hey guys, I just did the power brake thing on my '69, went and got a '73 booster at the salvage yard, got home, took the old mastercylinder off, took the snap ring out and the whole piston came out, so went to Advance and got a mastercylinder for power brakes. Question is, the booster I got had the non-adjustable rod for the pedal, and my pedal now is much closer to the floor. Is this normal, keeping in mind I have plenty of stopping power now. Also having to rig a thing for the brake light switch, too far away now, but the piece that the switch rests against is bent somewhat, but I can't bend it on the column, I have the switch working by adding some stuff to that piece to bring it closer to the switch. Any thoughts or comments???
Thanks, Ron
