73-79 plastic inner fenders on 67-72

Has anyone ever used the 73-79 inner fenders on a 67-72.hows the fit etc.any problems installing.figured I might do this to protect the new inner fenders ,hinges,and rad support that I put on. Thanks guys

I know a guy that did this to a 1970 F100 ranger, they will fit but I believe they need to be cut...not sure of the dimensions though, sorry.

You mean the plastic inner fender liners? I snagged a pair of them off a '79 and intend using them too. I did a really quick trial fit and found that they will indeed need to be trimmed a little but nothing serious.

The previous owner of my 68 had the later plastic inner wheel liners installed on the front. I think this is what kept the fenders pretty rust free up till now.
