I put a Offy dual port manifold on my Dad's 240 F100 and a Hooker header later it went on with no hassle. No mods to the linkage or anything. You lose manifold heat when you ad the header and on a winter day in Colorado it was real tough to get started in the morning.

This might be a good time to switch to a cable throttle if you haven't already. I know many of the dentsides have them. Last spring I pulled that whole setup from a junker but I can;t remember the linkage. The DP had part of the heat area where the original manifold would attach, hacked away to clear the headers but not all headers will require that.
I strongly recommend anyone messing with a six go browse the Fordsix forum.

What hasn't been asked, unless I missed it, is this... Is it an offy c or dp?

If its a dp the front of the carb faced the passenger front tire. If its a C it faces the way you drive.

Which is better for the typical street engine?
