To remove the ignition switch lock cylinder: First DISCONNECT THE BATTERY! Then put the key in and turn it to the 'Accessories' position. Stick the end of a paper clip into the tiny hole in the face of the lock cylinder to release it and then turn the key counterclockwise and pull the key and lock assembly out of the switch. Installation is opposite of removal.
