best place to get turn signal switch?

I know that I need a new turn signal switch, but I am wondering where to buy one. I know that I can get the rebuild kits from OReilly's and Napa, but is this what I should get or something else. What do you guys get when you need a new turn signal switch assembly? Also, is it usually the switch you need, the cam, or both.

usually the cam and the whole setup comes from LMC truck or you can go to E-Bay a store there has stock ones for 57. I just got one from an auction for 59 with shipping in the original box.

This is probably the best supplier for turn signal switches...
They manufacture most of the of the aftermarket turn signal switches for suppliers, but also sell them direct.
The turn signal switch I got for Olde Skool was a Shee-Mar switch... very good quality

Not sure why it ain't workin'...
But if you click on the "contact us" button, their phone, fax, and e-mail address is posted.
These guys were less than half the price of the Ford dealer on the turn signal switch for Olde Skool, and were the only ones in the country who it in stock.

I got my last one from LMC truck, a little dispaired when I saw the "made in tiawon" sticker. It might just be me but it never seemed to work as well as the genuine motorcraft. You can just replace the cam but sometimes that old wiring gets a little brittle to work with. Next time I'll try to order one from Ford.

I got mine out of an ancient wreck in the junk yards (had a 12" diameter walnut tree growing through the frame rails... The NAPA repair kit will make you cry (I did)... $15 and had to wait a day and then spent the better part of another cussing the stupid thing that would never work correctly.

About half or better of the time, when you try to install one of the "repair" kits, you will find that the original material has been heated up and the contacts sunk into the material so they don't make good contact, the material is heat warped, or is so brittle that it more or less falls apart, and you would totaly frustrated messing with it. Usually time and money ahead to justbuy a replacement.
