2 Stupid Removal Questions
I am asking how to take the tailgate off. I also don't know how to take off just the grille. I've had the fenders off before, but it didn't look like the grille was about to budge at all. Thanks

To remove the tailgate you'll have to remove one of the tailgate hinges and slide it off the other hinge.
As for the grille, there are several L-brackets along the middle of the shell attaching it to the radiator support, plus bolts along the front edge of each fender. They're a PIA to get to from inside the wheelwell. There will also be some bolts holding it to the upper valance panel, but I've always found it easiest to just remove the upper valance with the grille.

Here's a couple of illustrations that show bolt locations. The originals are about 1.5 megs so PM me if you would like me to email them to you. I usually just start unbolting stuff, give it tug, find a bolt I missed, give it a tug and so on. I am, however, delighted to share these illustrations with you as I have finally found a use for these things that I paid too much for from a very difficult eBay seller.
