Removing paint from grille

Post by flyboy2610 »

My '68 has an aluminum grille which some %$#@& painted white. It looks to be a flat or semi gloss latex, like house paint. Any body have any ideas as to how to get the paint off? From what i can see of the aluminum it looks to be in decent shape.

I'd say some good ol' chemical stripper... if ya don't leave it on for any longer than you have to, and rinse with water right away, it shouldn't bother the anodizing.

Thanks, Hardtail.
Do you know any particular brand I should try?
