Registration success.....

Post by Mpennington »

[b]A while back I had a question about registration for a truck with no title and I found out that its not that big of deal....for what it worth, here's what I had to do;

1.)go to local tag shop-they gave me a declaration page of vehicle worth
2.)go to insurance agent and they do a Title search/Idemnity Bond, cost was $100.00
3.) a inspector come out to see vehicle and declare it operable, ok if inoperable, provided document
4.) go back to tag shop, they collect all documents and charged $60.00 for a title to be issued from the state....my case is NC..others may be different.

Not too bad for what I thought was going to be a nightmare...I'd love to show a pic if I could figure it out.....we'll see.

Thanks..Mark
Oh, if anyone wants a 67-69 LB, theres one in Cherokee, NC.....probably runs.

Good to know.. I live in N C too... hate to think what would have happened if the N C D O T or D M V found out the vehicle had at one time been reported stolen....
