I love my new seat! it just sucks that i finally had to remove the vintage 70's speakerboxes off the B pillar

but i'm more mad that i have to modify the gunrack or move it up
i know i cant have guns on it in IL but they look like they were the first add-on to the truck so they'll stay

and i found what i can resonably assume is what she looked like originally a light teal that doesnt look like a bad color, but someone had done a halfa$$ed repaint with a nice (but sunfaded/weather worn) metalic blue at some point. so i started thinking...since i've sprayed more than a couple vehicles with decent results maybe i should repaint at some point...
as for now i like the "Patina", looks like a well taken care of "Manly" truck

Pics! (i didnt take any of the old stuff i found under the mat and seat!

Before!

Finished! (I'm slowly disolving the rust on the drivers floor to primer it paint and maybe Hurculine it, without mixing up those rubber chunks)

my old man got me these for my Bday, perfect for the truck!
he's an OTR driver for TMC, so he picked em up at the huge truck stop in Iowa. i got a pair of mudflaps from TMC also but i dont know if i want em on there (these are huge mudflaps!)
and yes she was a nekid model...you can see the nips!

Al sfter he just pinched his finger in the track, i just managed to capture him in the shot!!!! he was doing it since he has smaller paws to put the bolts in! boy i saved myself from that headache!!!

It really wasnt too hard putting the 68 brackets on the 86 seat, a couple smacks with the hammer removed the 68 studs and we just used the 86 bolts on the seat (did a little grinding to get the fronts in there)

now i just need to do the frontend swap, and the brakes, and the gears, and the...............

BTW It fired right up after sitting for over 2 months

I love this truck!
