So now I am look to hook it up in my 70. But the plug in the back is smaller. But all of the wiring was there. So can I cut my plug off of the 70 wiring harness and straight wire to the original senders?

I was look at one on ebay for .01 cent and 40 shipping. But today I happend across one for free... So now I am look to hook it up in my 70. But the plug in the back is smaller.
