Turn signals don't flash.

Post by drosera88 »

Im not much with electronics, so here goes. I recently swapped instrument panels. With the old panel, the left brake light and turnsignals did not work at all. (This was not the reason I changed instruments) Now with the new panel, the left brake light works, and so do the signals, but they do not flash. They just go on. I have tried replacing the two flashers with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm guessing a bad ground or bulb sockets.

Be sure you are using the correct bulbs , front and rear. Flashing will only happen with the correct resistance created by the bulbs. Make sure there are no wires running to a trailer plug that are damaged.

Most of the time the reason turn signals don't work is the switch is bad. The best cure is a new switch.
