Hey all I drive interstate traffic about 40 minutes each way five times a week and I need to get my horn working. I've been yelling at people who cut me off but dont hink they hear me over their cell phone.
Im starting out with the horn button and horn itself. I think the wiring is in the column but there are no buttons or spring of any type. NPD appears to have all the parts but not having anything to go by, I'd be guessing. I think there's a relay next to the battery, or installing one wouldn't be hard. What all is needed?

You'll need the horn button (with a 3-prong plastic indexing ring), a large spring that does under it (not shown here):

If don't want to mess with the steering column or can't confirm the wires are still good, just get a dah mounted horn button at the auto parts store and run 12 volts to the horn then a wire to the button and use the button as a ground switch (just like the steering wheel ring) Mount it on the dash within easy reach. $20

That's what I did for a quick fix. Mine is mounted on the steering column.
