That explains Fram's FollyFord Trucks used the 4th digit in the VIN for engine ID, Ford cars used the 5th digit.

I took some "before" pix, and some of the tank valve inside a couple days ago in preparation for the thread, but thats when I discovered the main tank was leakin' after my using compressed air on it to try to clean it and the lines. My rebuilt carb won't like what I've found in both those tanks.
In fact I am on my second electric fuel pump.
The first one taught me a lot about micro pumps in general.
Great, I will be driving to the coast frequently (@ 10mpg maybe not quite so frequently) and maybe we can meet up some time. I value knowledge, and especially since this is the first Ford since Dad's '68 Torino GT back in the days ... oh ...
